Although
in constant development in the past five to ten years,
On-line Education already has a history of considerable
duration, but apparently little known. Nowadays many are
still surprised to find out that in the late 70s and early
80s in the XXth century, there were those who developed
extremely interactive on-line courses, with superior quality
standards and high levels of student and teacher satisfaction.
The
pioneers of On-line Education lived those times amidst
problems and difficulties still faced today by those who
start in this area and they discovered or developed
solutions and strategies to overcome them. However, all
the knowledge put together throughout these years of experimentation
and research seems not to be explored satisfactorily by
today's beginners.
Sharing
this knowledge with a broader audience is the main goal
of the On-line Seminar which Aquifolium Educacional will
hold from June 13 to July 11, 2003.
